Seasonal Menu

Let's face it, the biggest job as the family chef is the meal planning. Not the shopping, chopping or even dish washing {we have no dishwasher}. But how do I make healthy meals, save time and keep my mental sanity?
I figured out by planning 4 times a year I can create seasonal menus used for 3 months.  Plan once eat thrice!!  I spend less time finding meals, making grocery lists, and wondering "what's for supper?"  We find it's nice when we have a great meal that we get to eat it next month. But if a meal is rated poorly, I tried to replace it for the next month. I'll never go back to weekly planning or even monthly planning. Seasonal is the way to go.
